Which cookies and similar technologies we use — and how you stay in control.

This Cookie Policy explains how saharaems.com, operated by Sahara Emergency Training Ltd, trading as Sahara EMS College, uses cookies and similar technologies and how you can manage your choices. It supplements our Privacy Notice.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a comparable way. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are first-party cookies; cookies set by other providers, for example through an embedded map, are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, persistent cookies remain for a set period.
We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (entry “sahara-consent”), so that we do not ask you again on every page. This entry contains no profile of you and is not shared with anyone. Strictly necessary technologies do not require your consent.
Our contact page can show a Google Maps map of our Nakuru campus. The map loads only after you accept external media in the cookie banner or click “Load map”. Google may then set third-party cookies and receives your IP address and information about your visit. Details are in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Our website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. This sets no cookies, but your browser transmits your IP address to Google when the fonts are loaded.
We currently use no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary storage, the cookie banner will appear again on every visit.
Your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019 are described in our Privacy Notice. Questions about this policy: Fabian Berg, Head of IT, info@saharaems.co.ke (subject: “Data protection”).
